Information, photographs and archive material have been gathered from a wide range of sources, including Findmypast, Ancestry, the British Newspaper Archive, Examiner archives, Kirklees Local Studies, Shepley Library magazine archives, Huddersfield & District Family History Society research materials, local history books and local memories, family photographs and loaned items.
Volunteers are continuing to collect stories, photographs and documents from across the village. Where possible, these will be digitised so they can be preserved and shared for the future.
